Melsonby Annual Parish Village Show

Melsonby Parish Village Show is an annual event supported by the Parish Council. It is taking place on 22nd August 2026.

If you have never exhibited in the Show before, HAVE A GO THIS YEAR.

Just one exhibit will make a difference and ensure that the show continues to be an important event in the village’s calendar.                                                                                           

Even if you decide not to enter an exhibit, please come along and support our Village Show. You are promised a fun afternoon. In addition to perusing your friends’ and neighbours’ prize exhibits, there is the opportunity to obtain lots of lovely fresh veggies and home- made produce for your family’s delectation. Always a highlight of the afternoon, and not to be missed, is an auction of produce under the hammer. Melsonby Parish Village Show is organised by Melsonby Parish Village Show Committee.

New style Photography Class has been included for 2026.

Entries will be displayed in St James the Great Church, from 3rd July to 17th July, and everyone in the village, plus anyone from Melsonby School or any other village organisation, can enter.
You will see some amazing photos during this time, you will also be able to judge the different Categories by voting for your favourite in each one. Yes, that’s right – you’re the Judges!

Should you have questions please speak to any of our committee members.
The winners of the Adult and Children’s Classes will each be presented with a Trophy. There will also be a Trophy for the photograph that gets the most votes overall.
