MELSONBY PARISH VILLAGE SHOW

Melsonby Parish Village Show was held at Melsonby Methodist Primary School on Saturday 17 August 2013. There was an excellent turnout for the show in all groups and there was a particularly good response for the new Stokoe Trophies for Photography. After the show the produce was auctioned and there was keen competition amongst the boys for the kingsize produce. Ronan Donaghue managed to provide the winning bid for the giant celery, Aaron Chilton for the giant cabbage and Nathan Carvey for the huge marrow. Martyn Pratt gained most points over all groups and was awarded the Wendy Vart Trophy for the newcomer to the show with most points.
