A6108 DARLINGTON ROAD, RICHMOND – RESURFACING
This letter is to inform you that the North Yorkshire County Council will be undertaking resurfacing on the above road between Mile Planting and Skeeby.
The works are currently programmed for two days Wednesday 19 May and Thursday 20 May. Please note these works will require a full road closure between the hours of 09:30 and 03:30.
The work is part of an extensive programme and as a consequence it is possible that some adjustment to this start date or the duration of the works may be necessary should unforeseen circumstances, such as significant weather events or emergencies on the highway network arise.
This may inevitably restrict vehicular access to properties directly affected but our contractors will try to assist you where possible during the working day through the use of on-site personnel tasked with managing access. Limited vehicular access will be permitted throughout the works and it would be appreciated that vehicles are removed from the highway before 09:30 throughout the period of the works. Please be advised there will be extended periods when access will just not be possible due to the nature of the works and physical constraints of the site. Pedestrian access will not be permitted. We request your assistance in the following ways: –
