THANK YOU FROM JILL JAMES
”I would like to thank you all so much for the gifts, cards, parties and kind wishes I have received on my retirement and the support I have received throughout my career from my family, friends and colleagues.
I have enjoyed the many challenges over the past years including being part of the planning and commissioning team for the development of the Friary Hospital wound management using low power laser therapy.
However, the delivery of patient care has been the most rewarding and it has been a privilege to have been part of so many families’ lives in the area.
A very special thank you to my colleagues at Doctors Lane Surgery, Aldbrough St John, for allowing me to be part of the team and especially for ‘my book’ and to those who contributed to it, I will treasure the memories.'”
The following is a release from Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby Clinical Commissioning Group
- MEDIA RELEASE
24 February 2016
Public invited to discuss access to GP services
NHS Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby Clinical Commissioning Group (HRW
CCG) is inviting members of the public to attend local focus group sessions in order
to gather public opinion on access to GP services.
The focus groups will involve open-ended questions for group discussion as well as
group activities. Refreshments will also be provided.
Janet Probert, Chief Officer for HRW CCG said: “We are holding a series of focus
groups across Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby to discover what people
understand by access to GP services, and how they really feel about what is
currently available.
“Although patients in our area have voted us ‘the best in the country’ for GP patient experience for three years in a row, we want to ensure our patients are able to access
the right care, at the right time.
“Along with our other series of Patient Congress and engagement events under Fit 4
the Future, these focus groups provide an ideal opportunity to share thoughts whilst
helping to shape the future of access to GP services. We’re hoping they will be well
attended, so please get in touch to get involved.”

Newsham Village Hall Wednesday 2 March 2016
